Transplanted to the Houston area from Pennsylvania 12+ years ago, I've fallen in love with the independence and can-do attitude of Texas in general and many of the Texans friends I've made. Retiring from my full time "career" two years ago has given me time to paint and enjoy the sense of creativity that comes with turning scenes and images I think are enticing and beautiful into graphical representations. The big challenge is always to put into my painting something of the color, texture, mood and light I visualize in the scene. Beauty in nature, architecture, or anything else that sparks my imagination and creativity are subjects for my watercolors, a medium that gives me so many opportunities to change the look and feel of a painting that it never gets old. Commissions are welcome and all artwork shown is for sale either as original paintings or fine art reproductions.
