Pamela Lindley is a contemporary realist painter living in Fort Worth, Texas. Her grandfather was her greatest influence and mentor. He was realist painter during the 70’s in Montery, California, but spent the majority of his career painting and teaching in his native Texas. Through him she was exposed to the realist tradition and spent numerous hours in his studio studying realist techniques.
Pam graduated from the University of Arlington with a degree in Liberal Arts. In 2004 she began full time pursuit of her art career including studying with local and national artist and three years at the Texas Academy of Figurative Art in Fort Worth Texas, an art school dedicated to the atelier method, which emphasizes classical painting techniques.
She is a member of Artist of Texas, Oil Painters of America, and American Women Artist.
